RIPThe Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Berlin wishes to announce the sudden death of Master Japian Stevens, son of Ambassador Jongopie Stevens and Madam Georgiana Stevens which sad event took place on Monday 20th June 2011.

A memorial service in respect of the late Master Japian Stevens will be held on Sunday, 26 June 2011 at 1:30 p.m at the United Brethren in Christ Church (Salone Church)at

Magdalenen-Kirche,
Karl-Marx-Str. 197-201,
12055 Berlin

On Tuesday, 28th June 2011, there will be a ‘laying-out’ of Master Japian Stevens at 16:30 at the

Ahorn Grieneisen,
Furstenbrunnenweg 10-12,
14059, Berlin

Master Japian Stevens will be flown to Freetown on Thursday, 30th June 2011. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday 5th July 2011 at The King Memorial United Methodist Church, Regent Road, Freetown at 2:30pm and interment at Ascension Town Cemetery.

Messages of Condolence may be sent to the Chancery of Sierra Leone Embassy (Herwarthstr. 4, 12207 Berlin) or at the residence of the Ambassador: Besingweg 12, 14089 Berlin.

    I was so sad to hear about his death as he was so young. My sincere condolences to his parents and the Stevens family. May he rest in perfect peace.
